Sr. Unix Systems Engineer

Sr. Unix Systems Engineer
Sr. Unix Systems Engineer focusing on engineering, integrating, and deploying TCS secure solutions. Engineer would lead elite engineering teams with highly visible, full life cycle, enterprise-level implementations of leading edge, accredited cross-domain solutions. Exciting international travel opportunities available.
Must have 7+ years Unix (Solaris, Linux), networking, & administration skills with strong emphasis on security. Windows Terminal Services & Citrix administration skills highly desirable. Experience working closely with customers to understand their hardware and software environment, requirements, processes, and network infrastructure. Eligible for a traveling bonus on top of base salary.
Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI required
Sr. Security Accreditation Engineer
TCS seeks a Sr. Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Engineer with strong interpersonal, writing, and technical skills. Oversee and direct the entire C&A effort on a variety of sensitive military and commercial systems. Interact directly with developers and program managers to identify the steps required to take these systems through the C&A process. Coordinate with TCS staff and customers to create C&A documentation and facilitate security testing to achieve successful accreditation.
Must have 5+ years experience with C&A processes (DITSCAP, DIACAP, DCID 6/3, and/or NIST), including at least one year leading a C&A team. Strong technical writing, customer interaction, and team management skills. Strong knowledge of information security requirements. Proven ability to work and coordinate with multiple groups, including accreditors, certifiers, and end users. Cross domain solution technology and C&A processes preferred. Dependable, motivated, self-starting team player.
Education: Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred)
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI required
Software Developer
The Software Developer will lead and develop a multi-level web-based content manager. Strong knowledge of Solaris, C programming, and CGI development. Experience with installation and customer relations a plus.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Secure Systems Engineer
Location: Champaign, Illinois
TCS has an immediate need for a Secure System Engineer to help port the existing TCS application suite to TCS Trusted Linux along with creation and integration of new information sharing products. Ideal candidate should be self-motivated and work well within a team. Candidate will provide guidance to other developers in remote offices. Position includes working with cross-platform application architectures and creative problem solving.
5 years of C/C++ development experience on Linux, Solaris or UNIX variants (Trusted Solaris programming a plus); 3 years experience with installation and configuration of applications on Linux, Solaris, or UNIX variants; Knowledge of Trusted Operating Systems (i.e. Trusted Solaris) and other Mandatory Access Control (i.e. SELinux) technologies preferred; Experience with integration and installation onsite is a plus. Experience with formalized software requirements and design processes, scripting, networking, GTK, java, apache, SQL.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Trusted Computer Solutions is seeking an experienced, high energy, sales professional with a proven track record of selling enterprise solutions to Navy/USMC/ DOD Accounts. Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions/ MLS preferred. This position reports to the Sales Manager. To be considered candidates must be willing to obtain a security clearance (US citizenship a must).
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PRIOR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Position requires sales professional with a proven ability to identify leads, qualify, develop and close business. Ideal candidate has sales experience in the Navy/ USMC marketplace with technical background in security software. Have the ability to work with customers on a daily basis to generate sales revenue and provide account management support. Demonstrate the ability to analyze the needs of customers and determine how to position TCS products to competitively meet those needs. Provide professional leadership and coordination to the sales support team on revenue opportunities. Maintain an awareness of competitive offerings and strategies. Meet sales objectives established by management. Act as liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and services. Coordinate meetings and product demonstrations between company personnel, vendors and customers. Develop and present proposals. Understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses in order to effectively articulate TCS’s competitive advantage. Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business.
