Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS)

TCS Information Security Products and Services now available to all Government Agencies.

WASHINGTON, DC, November 1998 — Trusted Computer Solutions, Inc. (TCS) the industry leader in Information Security (INFOSEC) products and services, today announced it has won a five-year schedule contract under a new products and professional services program from the U.S. General Services Administration, the purchasing agent for the Federal Government. Under this contract, which carries no ceiling on the amount of revenue the company can earn, all levels of Government agencies and departments can purchase INFOSEC software and system engineering services from Trusted Computer Solutions. The company is one of about 5 INFOSEC oriented businesses awarded a contract under this program, administered by the GSA's Federal Supply Service.

Through the schedule program, GSA enters into contracts with commercial firms to provide products and services at prices guaranteed for a specific timeframe at pre-negotiated prices. Government agencies that purchase through the GSA schedule can acquire TCS's INFOSEC products and services without the complexities of the formal competitive bidding process because prices have been pre-negotiated. Customers now will be able to choose TCS's offerings from a catalog and contract with the company directly.

"The scope of this contract permits customers to acquire TCS product and service offerings through the lifecycle of INFOSEC software and systems engineering, from requirements analysis through maintenance."

Through its GSA Schedule, TCS will offer Government agencies specialized security products such as SecureOffice, the TCSecure family of network security products, INFOSEC services and support, system penetration and vulnerability assessments, secure database planning and design, programming, and security analysis and design.
